EXCUSED ABSENSES VS. UNEXCUSED ABSENCES –
Excused absences are defined as
absences that are unavoidable, such as family
emergencies (or deaths) and illness. A note
explaining the absence must be submitted to the Faith
Formation Office. Parents may pick up from the office
the missed materials and teach the child at home to
make up for an absence.
To excuse an absence, child may need to
show proof of knowledge covered in lesson missed to
Director or Coordinator of Lifelong Faith Formation.
