The goals of the Lifelong Faith Formation
Program are to:
Provide Catechists the
growth opportunities and faith experience in order that
they may continue growing in Faith, in Hope and In Love.
Provide parents with necessary support
and formation for their roles as primary educators of
their children.
Provide the opportunity for all to
realize the importance of their personal relationship
with Jesus Christ and to develop their life of prayer.
Provide children a safe environment where
they may learn to love God, grow in the knowledge of
their faith and celebrate it, primarily in the
Eucharist.
Provide the opportunity for all who
participate in Faith Formation, particularly the youth,
the understanding of Christian freedom and
responsibility.
Develop in young people a sense of
mission in the church, that is, a desire to share their
vision of Christ with others as participants in the
community of faith.
